McGarian TDC Limited has developed a rotating and non-rotating spear system which utilises an industry standard grapple and carrier design, which can be used to engage conductors, casings and profiles in wellheads. The rotating spear is particularly useful in well abandonments where multiple casing strings may be cut and pulled in conjunction with the well head simultaneously. The non-rotating spear is particularly useful for cutting and backing out Mud Line Suspension systems.
McGarian TDC Limited is also developing rigless abandonment technology which may be useful when considering platform abandonment requirements, as well as rigless abandonments on both sub sea and land based wells.
